The Mothers’ Board president and members are appointed by Pastor Justin Williams of House of God Ministries Church of God in Christ (HOGCOGIC). These Holy Ghost-filled seasoned women embrace the sanctified life style given in the Holy Scriptures according to Titus 2:3-5 (KJV), “The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.”
Also, the Mothers’ Board encourages women by directing them to regularly attend other ministries/meetings within the church to further enhance their godly spiritual growth--namely, Wednesday Night Bible Study on Zoom, the Christian Women’s Council (CWC), Young Women’s Christian Council (YWCC), Missions and by dialing in to the weekly House of God Ministries Church of God in Christ Prayer Line to listen to live praying on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 12-1 P.M., and on Saturdays, 10-11 A.M.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Christian Women’s Council is to educate others in the principles and practices of holiness and saintly living. Our council will serve as mentors for younger women, enabling them to establish and maintain Godly standards in church behavior, community relationships, home building, child development, self-improvement, and thus become soul winners.
We exist to spiritually encourage and equip women of all ages and backgrounds to be successful in their homes, schools, and communities as well as careers.
Our Vision
The Womens' Ministry will provide an environment of love and family. We will nurture opportunities to grow in biblical wisdom and to up-build the whold person. It is our desire to see the entire family impacted and strengthened through the power of the Holy Ghost at work in the life of every woman.
YWCC - Christian Women's Council
Mission Statement
The Young Women’s Christian Council (YWCC) is an organization that ministers to young women ages 18-40, married or single. YWCC encourages holy living and dedication to Christian Service in the church and community. YWCC also addresses numerous concerns of young women which may include: finding a mate, home building, meal planning, parenting, child care and development, understanding teenagers, marital issues, etc.
Although YWCC serves women aged 18-40, it includes the fellowship and instruction of mature women and mothers who serve as teachers and council mothers for this organization.
